The Highway Chase is unlike most other driving games out there; instead of trying to get somewhere as fast as you can, or trying to see how far you can get, you'll have a set distance you need to reach in a level, and you'll also be able to shunt other cars while doing so. Besides taking part in vehicular sabotage on the highway, you'll also have to try and stay as far away as possible from the vehicle chasing you in each level.

In the first level of The Highway Chase, the vehicle tailing you is an unmarked police car. As the levels go on, the vehicles will change, each becoming more difficult than the last. As long as you hold down the up arrow key, though, you should have absolutely no problem being faster than the car following you. The only thing you should have a problem with, however, are the cars in front of you.

That's right; the cars immediately in front of you are the biggest thing you'll have to look out for in The Highway Chase. Similar to the old school NES game Spy Hunter, you'll have to weave between lanes with the arrow keys, making sure you don't run into any other cars, or else you'll explode. However, shunting cars is a great option for taking them off the road; knock a car's bumper or fender to do so.

The Highway Chase combines some of the best elements found in racing and driving games, giving you a great game that's quick and easy to play, at least at first. As the levels go on, you'll have to shunt a lot more cars, avoid vehicles in pursuit, and avoid crashing in this fast-paced highway driving game.
