Taxi Rush is an exciting arcade-style driving game - think along the lines of Pole Position - with a few notable exceptions. First of all, you're driving a taxi cab, and you're able to weave between the three available lanes whenever you'd like with the arrow keys. Although if you don't want to weave in and out of traffic, you don't have to; pressing the spacebar will cause your taxi to jump, and you'll be able to jump over cars in front of you.

This doesn't exactly make Taxi Rush one of the most realistic driving games online, but it makes it a lot more fun to play. The object of the game is simple: given a time limit at the start of the level, you'll have to drive a necessary distance before that time runs out. And, if you do make the time limit, you'll immediately start the next level as you go past the checkered flag.

The first level in Taxi Rush will give you thirty seconds to work with; each subsequent level will not only take a second off of your allotted time, but they'll throw in a lot more cars to weave through and jump over. So, not only are you racing against the clock, but you're playing against other drivers as well; the best strategy is a combination of jumping and weaving. If you don't clear a car while trying to jump over it, you'll just bump into it, and that can really slow you down.

Overall, Taxi Rush is a great racing game; it's fast-paced, there are tons of levels of complete and drive through, and the difficulty gradually increases - it's everything you'd want in a driving game and more. When you really start to make your way through the levels, you'll probably worry more about getting through the traffic in front of you; but don't forget about the timer you're racing against, too.
