Kart Fighter Walkthrough
Kart Fighter is a top-down racing game likely inspired heavily by Micro Machines in physics and execution, featuring multiple gameplay modes.
Time Trial is exactly what you would expect from a racing game, pick your conditions and race against the clock and eventually, your ghost from the previous lap to get the best possible time.
Challenge Mode is where players of Kart Fighter put up a record and challenge all comers to beat it for prize tokens. Pick what difficulty of challenge you want and try to be the best Kart Fighter racer on the internet.
Career Mode is the meat and potatoes of the game, where you race against multiple AI-controlled opponents in stages for tokens in one of the fifteen tracks of the game, don't think it's going to be easy however, as six cars on one narrow track with sharp turns and obstacles can make for a difficult race.
The tracks of the game are littered with obstacles such as chairs that will slow you down and get in the way if someone crashes into them, do your best to avoid these nefarious expensive furnishings or the Queen will be furious.
In the Garage you can upgrade your karts and change what is actually equipped on the vehicle according to what the best choice for the track is. You have three karts with separate upgrades, so find which one works best for your racing style.
Tips: Even if it makes things easy, avoid using Auto Steer mode. Any time you try to cut a corner or take the inside track, the game will jeopardize your attempts in a ridiculous fashion, stick with manual or steer assist.
When racing, remember that handling is more important than speed, as a sharp turn will sharply reduce the speed of your kart and allow your opponents to pass you.
Always stick close to the walls of the turns instead of the inside track, and if you can, shove your opponents out of the way. Denying your opponent one second of speed makes a huge difference on a 15 second lap.
Overtake your opponents on the hairpin turns, this will get you way ahead and they will act as a barrier between you and the wall if you turn too sharply.
