Hummer Rally Championship Walkthrough
Hummer Rally Championship is a racing game featuring the popular Hummer truck, a civilian derivative of the US Army's M998 Humvee. This driving game features amazing three-dimensional graphics, catchy music, and five different tracks to race one.
Hummer Rally Championship has three modes of gameplay: Grand Prix, which is a single race, Championship which spans all five tracks, and 2-on-1 PC, which is similar to Grand Prix mode but allows two players to compete against each other. Although five tracks are featured in this driving game, only the first two can be played in Grand Prix 2-on-1 PC modes in this version of the game.
Hummer Rally Championship uses customizable keyboard controls. By default, the left and right arrow keys are used to steer and the up and down arrow keys are used to drive forward and backward. The spacebar is used to brake. The second player uses the A and D keys to steer and the W and S keys to drive forward and backward. Player two uses the control key to brake. These keys can be changed before each race in this driving game, so you can customize the controls to your liking.
Hummer Rally Championship is quite a challenging driving game, and the fact that you cannot change the camera angle makes it even more challenging. The camera never moves to a bad angle, but manual camera control or a fixed perspective would have made the game easier. As is the case in most racing games, the AI has a much easier time navigating the track. To overcome this disadvantage, slow down when making turns. The military Humvee is known for being able to traverse rugged terrain, but the civilian version used in this Flash game should not be driven off of the track. Not only will off-road driving slow you down, but if you stay off of the track too long your lap will not count when you cross the finish line!
Hummer Rally Championship is not the most forgiving driving game, so casual gamers may be put off by it. Hardcore fans of racing games that are looking for an intense challenge may find this game appealing, however.
