Drift Runners 2 is the sequel to the driving game, Drift Runners. Drift Runners 2 features nine upgradable vehicles, four track environments, twenty races, and twenty more bonus races. You can also choose to listen to your own MP3s rather than the in-game music in this racing game.

The objective of Drift Runners 2 is to win races against computer-controlled opponents. Finishing races in at least third place unlocks more races for you to compete in. Aside from placing in races, you can perform actions to unlock achievements which in turn unlocks new vehicles and upgrades. Your progress is automatically saved at the end of each race, so all of the upgrades and vehicles that you earn will be waiting for you the next time that you play this driving game.

Drift Runners 2 uses keyboard controls. The left and right arrow keys are used to steer. The up and down arrow keys are used to accelerate forward and backward respectively. You may alternatively use the respective WASD keys to control your vehicle. The X key or spacebar are used to activate the turbo boost when the turbo bar is full.

Drift Runners 2 can be beaten using tips that apply to most racing games of its type. The AI has an advantage when navigating the track, but this advantage can be overcome by staying on the inside of the track and making controlled turns rather than wide ones. Stay on the track if you want to get first place, but driving off of the track to knock over roadside objects may reward achievements in some cases. You can always come back later (possibly with a superior ride) to earn first place. Finally, be sure to use your turbo on straightaways when it is available. Your turbo bar is filled by drifting in this driving game.

Drift Runners 2 captures the essence of its predecessor while adding new elements to the gameplay formula. If you enjoyed the first Drift Runners, or if you are just a fan of racing games or drifting games, then you will enjoy Drift Runners 2!
