3D Mini Car Racing - this online and flash driving game is a nice attempt to create a great racing game (with 3rd person perspective) that failed a little bit on the graphics department. I don't know about you BUT I think the graphics - the cars, fences, and everything else is distorted.

HOWEVER, that is NOT to say that the game is not worth playing. It is. It has all the qualities of a good online racing game - easy to play, some room for customization, funky background music and nice sound effects, and those are just to name a few.

The objective of the game is really straightforward - go up against other racers and set the race track on fire as you fight for the first place. And you have to win to grab some cash and unlock other race tracks. Nothing really fancy or special as far as the game play goes.

To make things a little more exciting than your average flash driving game, there are power ups and some coins to pick up. The coins add more points and cash to your pocket which you can use to unlock more cars and unlock other race tracks. Along with that, there are lightning bolts scattered all over the place that you can use to increase the throttle by a notch or two and go faster than usual.

What I don't get though is what on earth are those yellow buses (yeah, they look like school buses) are doing on the race track?! I think it's just more of a distraction...some additional challenge if you want to put it that way. By the way, steer clear from the fence as that would significantly slow you down.

Overall, 3D Mini Car Racing is a good driving game - it has all the elements of a good driving game except for the failed graphics and visual effects. Give it a shot during a boring afternoon and it might be just what you need to cheer you up or brighten your day.
